Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport / Arusha City
Arriving at Kilimanjaro International airport, welcomed by one of our experienced driver/guides.
Greetings and drive you one hour to Arusha to your hotel.
Check into your hotel, and the rest of the day is yours to relax at leisure in the town.

DAY 2: Day tour to Materuni Waterfalls
After Breakfast, at 8am meet with your driver/guide and start your journey to Materui waterfalls.
Materuni is one of the few villages of wonder in Northern Tanzania sitting at the foot of Mount
Kilimanjaro.
The village is blessed with natural beauty.
You’ll pass through banana and coffee plantations, up and down mini-valleys, across ridges and
through narrow splashing rivulets. Along the way your guide will teach you about local plants and
how they are used for food and traditional medicine, as well as giving you more insight into the
local Chagga culture.
DAY 3: Game Dives in Tarangire National Park
Soon after breakfast 8.30am board your vehicle to Tarngire National Park, this will take 2-3 hours.
To reach the main entrance gate, enjoy your day tour with a picnic lunch.
The park runs on the line of the Tarangire River and is principally created of low-lying hills on the
nice valley floor. Its natural vegetation in the main consists of tree ground and large African baobab
trees, with huge swamp areas within the south. Both the stream and also the swamps act sort of a
magnet for wild animals throughout the dry season.
The Tarangire Park is acknowledged to contain a number of the biggest elephant herds on the
continent. This African park is additionally home to a few rare species of animals the greater Kudu,

DAY 4: Masai Village / Serengeti National Park
Wake up early, have your breakfast drive to the Serengeti National Park, drive through the
Ngorongoro highlands. Visit Masai village between Ngorongoro and the Serengeti National Park.
Your visit includes a demonstration of traditional Masai dance, the opportunity to see the day-to-
day workings of a Masai village, and the opportunity to purchase locally made jewellery.
The Serengeti is the oldest Park in Tanzania and the most complex ecosystem on earth. The flora and
fauna are maintained and preserved as they were since the beginning of time.
There is so much to see and keep you occupied in Serengeti National Park. One of the best places
to spot large predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas is Seronera Valley. You can also
see elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and many other species on any given day.

DAYS 5 & 6: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Two game drives, early within the morning before having your breakfast you will go
sun-rise game drives which can take about 1-2 hours the time you'll be driven back to your lodge
for breakfast and a short rest until lunchtime. After having delicious lunch at your lodge you'll go for a
second-time game drives from afternoon until sunset then drives back to Lodge.
If you wish, take a Hot Air Balloon Safari over the Vast Plains (optional experience). Overlooking
the wildebeests, zebras and gazelles from above will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

DAY 7: Serengeti / Ngorongoro Crater
Today enjoy a morning game drive in The Serengeti; after lunch, you drive to Ngorongoro
Conservation Area.
Free to relax and enjoy the spectacular views across the crater or swim in the
pool.

DAY 8: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drives
A full-day game viewing in the crater with picnic lunch (max 6 hours in the crater). The first
glimpse of Ngorongoro leaves one breathless. Once a huge volcano, probably larger than
Kilimanjaro, it is now a vast circular amphitheatre, spectacularly beautiful and a Garden of Eden
for thousands of wild life.
All the big 5 are present here - Rhinoceros, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, and Elephants live in this glorious caldera; others
are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, and Hyena. Birds include flamingos on the Soda Lake, Geese, Storks,
Vultures, and additional different bird families are easily being noticed. Enjoy a picnic lunch on
the crater floor.

DAY 9: Visit Hadzabe Tribe – Lake Eyasi
After breakfast drive to Lake Eyasi where you will enjoy a cultural tour enhanced by visiting The Hadzabe
people to learn more about their local traditions and way of life. A visit with the Bushmen is worthwhile, and they gladly
show you where they live and how they hunt.
They live entirely off the land and bow hunt. Everything they use is made from local materials,
including their bows strung with Giraffe tendon and arrows coated in lethal poison.
The Hadzabe people live in caves and do not wear clothes; instead, they prefer to cover their private parts
with small pieces of animal skin.

DAY 10: Lake Manyara National Park / Airport
After Breakfast around 8 am drive to Lake Manyara National Park, you travel through the beautiful
views of Rift Valley Escarpments. While driving you will see Masai herding their cattle and goats
just before the Park entrance you drive through the small but busy village of Mto wa Mbu, famous
for its population of up to 120 tribes and its lively, colourful atmosphere.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its green scenery, various species of birds, lions and
lionesses that climb to up into trees, and Baboons. The Game drive is a maximum 4-6 hours after which you enjoy the
return spin to Kilimanjaro International Airport board your flight back home.
