This 10 day tour gives you the chance to witness the incredible wildlife in the heart of Africa. It is known as The Pearl, as this was the reference made about the country by Winston Churchill in his 1908 Book “My African Journey” because of its beauty, natural wonders and its welcoming people.

Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe
Meet and greet at the airport before making the short journey to the Botanical Gardens - home to hundreds of different species. We then head to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Rhino Trekking
Today we head to Nakasongola District for Rhino trecking at a sanctuary. You will be given full details on how to at around these incredible creatures before transferring to the hotel
Day 3: Game drive then boat trip
We head to Murchison Falls National Park to encounter more outstanding wildlife, including lions, elephants, leopards and many many more! Later we head on a boat cruise to get up close with the crocodiles and different bird species along the Victoria Nile.
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking then Fort Portal
After breakfast we search for chimpanzees in the national park as well as many incredible bird species. We then head to Fort Portal - a really bustling city in a beautiful setting.
Day 5: Game drive in Kasenyi and Ishasha Sector
Today is another day for spectacular scenery and wildlife as we begin in Kasenyi to witness lions, warthogs waterbuck, hippos and maybe even hyena before heading to Ishasha to find tree-climbing lions - a truly spectacular animal to see up close! We then head to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6 - Transfer to Bwindi Inpenetrable National Park
We start with a game drive before heading to the Bwindi Impenetrable Park - a truly stunning setting in the mountains with views as far as the Congo and Rwanda. You will then stay in a lodge in the heart of nature overnight.
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking
An early start will allow us ample time to make the journey into the misty forest to look for the Silverback Gorillas. This can take up to 7 hours to see these special creatures so patience is key, but it is worth the wait! Afterwards we will head to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi
In the morning we explore the island in the lake, home to several different species of bird. Once our boat cruise has finished, there will be a chance to swim in the lake and relax in this tranquil setting.
Day 9: Jinja
Today we head to Jinja, with opportunities to see more wildlife along the way. We also stop off at the equator for a chance to be on different hemispheres at the same time
Day 10: The Nile
After breakfast there is a chance to go white water rafting at the source of the river Nile - an excellent place for activities such as this as well as kayaking. After lunch we head to Entebbe for our final night
Day 11:
We end our tour with a transfer to the aiport, unless you join us on our post-trip tour to Kenya where we will take you across the border and connect with our next trip.
